One Cool Kid

My son is very cool. He is always having fun. He laughs a lot. He rarely complains. He gets very excited about little things like...
* there is a new Ben 10 cartoon on
* we bought him mini ice cream sandwiches ("Awesome")
* he likes to pick out his clothes the night before preschool ("Can I wear long sleeves?")

He didn't have the most outstanding soccer season. He was pretty shy going after the ball (although he was the biggest kid on the field) and he didn't always pay attention during the games. But, he loved going to practice and loved playing one-on-one pickup games with his friends. He will go out with me and practice kicking the ball anytime. I have to take him out more. But, it was his first season and I think he'll do a lot better this spring when we sign him up again. He said he wants to play again.

I'm looking forward to it.

Fall 2009 Soccer Video

We are going to give this to Aidan's coach tomorrow as a nice gift to say Thanks. He did a wonderful job this year with the kids. We were so lucky to have him as Aidan's first soccer coach.

The team pretty much went undefeated. There might have been one close game all year. They play their final game tomorrow morning at 9am and then they have their big shin dig celebration at Skeeters for lunch at 11. Should be fun.

Time to celebrate.
